Day 1-1/July/2012

At now, I'll talk a bit of me. I'm Meili, I'm from China but I've grown up in Spain since I was a child, and actually I love my Spanish parents. I'm 16, short-tall, long and black hair, and a bit shy.
I woke up over 10am, breakfasted, I took a shower and I dressed with a blue t-shirt which says "Always smile, please". I was excited, It was the first time I went abroad without my parents, and i knew nobody there, so I would be who would be, and I would learn to handle me.
It was 4.30pm I was on the airport with my family, we were searching teens with blue t-shirts like mine, finally we found the rest of the group, there were only four girls and one boy! We were a small group, and Sandra, our Spanish group leader. She is nice and very helpful, when my family and I said goodbye, I cried a little, but then at the gates, we were playing cards and a game which Elba taught us, and I forgot the sadness. Our flight was delayed, but finally we arrived, with another Spanish victory on the Eurocup, to Manchester Airport.
Later an hour in a van to Leeds, we went to the  college's accommodation. On the trip to Leeds, our group (Emma, Elba, Vega, Marta, Alex and me) were talking about us, we were adding our numbers and we were knowing about Sandra.
At the end, we came to the college's accommodation about 10 pm, we were so tired, and on the reception it was waiting my english family, Becca (she is Chinese). It was a coincidence! She drove me to her house, a nice house, where there was a cat, Star. She was nice, and she cooked me a soup, cut me an apple and did me a tea. Then, she showed me her home, and my bedroom!!! It was a very nice bedroom, with a big bed, a desk, a wardrobe and a shelf. We were talking and talking until about 00.30am!
It was a good day!
